Think about the three activities that you completed in Lessons 1 and 2.

* the personal introductions (icebreakers, lesson 1)
* lino Board (lesson 1)
* Google Forms (lesson 2)

For each of these activities, review:

  1. What was accomplished for the teacher?
  2. What was accomplished for the student?
  3. Does it relate to the content and how?

Laurie: for the personal introductions the teacher would be able to learn about his/her students; the student would be able to develop

a feeling of interactive participation in the group; you could make it relate to the content by asking some leading questions about the student's interests or past experience with the content. For the linoboard and the google forms, the activity gives the teacher a fun activity to get the students involved in the lesson and introduce the material. For the student it provides an introduction to the lesson and generates excitement; the linoboard/google form would be based on the content of the lesson.
